THE PROPOSAL

The aim is to create an attractive, beautiful place that is sustainable and well connected to Cosby.

The Indicative Concept Plan has been informed by technical surveys that indicate that up to 180 homes can be delivered on the site. The proposals also include an extension to the existing allotments and the creation of extensive public open space and ecological areas.

COMMUNITY


The proposals will include an extension to the Allotments which will serve both the new and existing community, benefiting the physical and mental wellbeing and social interactions within the development.

Financial contributions will be made for improvements to local facilities, such as schools and healthcare.

CONNECTIVITY


The proposals will improve connectivity to the countryside through enhanced footpaths and Public Rights of Way.

Opportunities to improve footway and cycle links with the existing village’s will be taken to encourage walking and cycling.

SUSTAINABILITY


The proposals will be sustainable and inclusive, incorporating new sustainable technologies and building methods. Creating homes which are environmentally responsible and responsive to climate change. In addition, new public open space across the Site will contribute to the character and quality of the local area, delivering a high quality development which creates a softer, more definitive edge to the village.
